So this week started with me finishing off my review for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth which can be read HERE, now that is done I can focus on 2 other upcoming reviews in the form of Ryu Ga Gotoku: Kiwami and Project X Zone 2 which should both appear on the site within the next fortnight. Apart from that I haven’t really played too much this week, been mostly lusting after Street Fighter V which releases 16/02/2016 & having recently picked up an X Box One I have been testing some of the titles on there & by that I mean spending my first 2 hours playing Battletoads & Battletoads Arcade thanks to Rare Replay
[Edit: Rare Replay and you’re not playing Conker? Dude… Just… Dude]

Ok, confession time – not much gaming has happened last week. Before you go for the pichforks and torches let me explain; my family have been down to see me so there has been little time for gaming. I did get chance to play on my iPad during family down time with titles like The Westport Independent and Tomb of the Mask managing to keep me sane. Now all the family is happy it is back onto gaming! Like last week, completing Life is Strange is my goal along with a full write up of platflormer Klaus. I do not want to fully commit myself to another game until I have finished these pair of but I think next on my list is the Sherlock game – might be due to my latest binge watch of the fantastic BBC series!
[Edit: I’m looking forward to the write up of Klaus, it sounds interesting]

Getting a review code a couple of weeks before release means you have extra time to play the game before penning, but it also means its your focal game for longer. Megadimension Neptunia VII was my most played game still last week, now with my review completed though I’ll have time to play other things. I did manage to secure an early copy of Earth Defense Force 4.1 from a reputable source a few days before release, so I’ll hopefully have a review fully penned for the weekend on how that turned out compared to 2025. There was the surprising time this past week when I dusted off my 3DS for a few missions of Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson. I hadn’t really played it much since my review so it was good to get back into the swing of things and give the 3DS some love. Plus, Mirai is just too boss to stay away from Senran Kagura for too long.
[Edit: Hikage > Katsuragi > Mirai]

This week I found myself with Return to Popolocrois a story of seasons fairytale (yes that’s its full name) That I’ve been looking forward to for a while as a fan of Rune factory for the upcoming review other than this I have been playing the prologue for Bravely second in anticipation of its upcoming release and so if its anything like this multi hour demo I will be one very happy man.
[Edit: So many memories of PoPoLoCrois when I first got my PSP… Such an awesome game]

I haven’t really had much time the last week to play games, when I have had some spare time though I’ve been putting some finishing touches into Majora’s Mask 3D, I only have 3 more dungeons to get all the fairies in, around 20 more heart pieces and the Fierce Deity Link mask then I’ve got it all. I have been putting a few hours into JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle Royal though, as I want to get into fighters a little more clunkier than my usual pace such as BlazBlue, Guilty Gear and Under Night in Birth, but I’ve found most of the characters are locked and I’ll have to do the stories (which are from the manga) and I’m funny with stories when they’re adaptations, so I’m pacing through the anime right now and then I’ll go through the manga. So far, I’ve only unlocked Dio Brando (Because Dio!) and Avdol, I’m still finding my feet but I love the art style of the game.
Little sneak peak at the future though, remember a few weeks ago I said I was playing an unreleased game called Hellgate on the Dreamcast? When I have a few hours, I’ll try sit through that and finish it off then do a write up on it, to make up for the lack of content from me over the last few weeks!
