Koei Tecmo Reveals Dynasty Warriors 9 Opening Movie

The latest entry in Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors series is just around the corner and Koei Tecmo has given us a sneak peek at its epic opening movie.

As is customary with more recent DW opening movies, popular character Zhao Yun hogs the limelight almost entirely with the OP showing him emerging from water and being clad in his usual emerald armour before descending from the heavens to go to war.

The game is shaking up the standard Musou format by adding an open world and replacing the standard Square, Square, Triangle combat with something altogether more complex with it’s ‘State Combo’ system.

Dynasty Warriors 9 releases on the 13th of February on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
