UltraCore digital release details

Ultracore was originally developed by Digital Illusions, planned for the Sega CD, Amiga and Sega Mega Drive. Unfortunately this title was cancelled at the last minute, fortunately as of late this doesn’t stop games releasing and Ultracore is getting a digital release!!!.

Strictly Limited Games managed to salvage the project and put it onto the Mega Sg, a piece of Mega Drive Hardware made last year. While the game has seen a limited physical release this will be the first time its readily available to a wider audience.

Ultracore is a run and gun 2D Platformer in the vein of Super Turrican and the slew of Amiga developed “Euro Games”. If you don’t know what that means, just hit up some Amiga game images and you’ll get the idea.

Ultracore releases June 23rd £17.99 / €19.99 / $22.99 USD for Nintendo Switch and PS4 with a PSVita release to follow.
