Clockwork Aquario 2020 Release announced

Clockwork Aquario is a title that has been missing for 27 years, due to be one of the last titles for Sega System 18 units, Clockwork Aquario was cancelled due to the change in gaming trends in the arcades.

27 years later, Strictly Limited Games working alongside Sega and ININ games is proud to announce Clockwork Aquario is finally seeing a release, only in a different Arcade. current gaming consoles.

Originally developed by Westone headed up by Ryuchi Nishizawa of Wonder Boy fame, Clockwork Aquario looks to be just as enchanting as the games that form it’s lineage.

While most of the game was recovered some elements weren’t which meant the team behind this endevour went to great lengths to enlist members of the team who worked on the title to see this title completed as close to the original image as possible.

Ryuchi Nishizawa was over joyed to see his creation finally see the light of day, he also said “Clockwork Aquario is a great piece of 2D art, into which the pixel artists put their hearts and souls. I would like to express my heartfelt respect and gratitude to those who have worked so hard to restore it.”

No date has been given but head over to http://clockworkaquario.com/ for more details on the title and stick with us for more coverage as soon as we know.
