Pokemon GO News (and a tip) (Android and IOS)

As you are no doubt aware unless you don’t use any form of social media or have otherwise been living under a rock, A new Pokemon title will be arriving before long for Android and IOS devices. There is no official release for the UK as of this time however is is already a global trend with some tech savvy android users gaining early access and postings of captured pocket monsters littering social media.

Pokemon GO is unlike other titles of the series relying on augmented reality and the use of your phones camera and GPS to fill the world around you with pokemon, gyms and group events. (check out the trailer below if you haven’t already)

Pokemon GO launched a little over 24 hours ago in the USA and has seen Nintendo’s servers crash as well as there share price rocket near 10% already as the new tread spreads like wild fire across the internet. Along with this there have been many reports of accidents associated with using the app ranging from people not watching where they are going to finding dead bodies. Please remember to pay attention and be aware of your surroundings when wading through the tall grass.

A lot of people playing this game will no doubt have to make the tough call on the starter to go with Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. But like most Pokemon fans what if you want the iconic Pikachu? We are hear to help!

There is a somewhat secret, if not simple way to acquire Pikachu as your starter Pokemon. It simply requires you to walk away from the other 3. Doing so will cause them to appear closer to you but repeating the processes a few times will cause the little yellow mouse to spawn in there place. With a simple throw of your pokeball and your almost as good at catching him – providing he doesn’t get away of course though I don’t know of this actually happening to anyone.
