One Piece: Burning Blood Heading to Europe in 2016

Bandai Namco have announced they will be localising One Piece: Burning Blood for Europe next year, with the series heading to a Microsoft console for the first time. The Spike Chunsoft developed fighting game is set to feature unique aspects of the series such as Logia Devil Fruits, which can be used to initiate special moves. Bandai Namco Europe VP of marketing, Herve Hoerdt, said in a press release:

“Meeting our fans on public & private events is a good way to get feedback on our games and see what the expectations are, One Piece: Burning Blood is the perfect example of us creating a game impeccably in-line with fans’ desires. The long awaited pure fighting-game based on the One Piece universe is here! To add to that, we are quite happy to release the game on multiple platforms, especially on a Microsoft console, since it’s the first time ever for a One Piece game.”

One Piece: Burning Blood will launch for Playstation 4, Xbox One & PSVita in europe during 2016, an American release has yet to be confirmed by Bamco.
