Dragon Ball FighterZ Heading to Nintendo Switch

Bandai Namco has announced a Switch release for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the latest Dragon Ball fighter will make its way to Nintendo Switch – though a release date has yet to be announced for the port aside from a 2018 date.

DRAGON BALL FighterZ is the critically acclaimed anime fighting game combining classic 2.5D fighting game dynamics with the beloved DRAGON BALL universe; one of the most popular and iconic anime franchises enjoyed by millions of fans around the world. DRAGON BALL FighterZ for the Nintendo Switch will be playable at the BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment E3 2018 booth (number 1647) in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Centre and in the Nintendo E3 booth located in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Centre.

DRAGON BALL FighterZ for the Nintendo Switch is in development at Arc System Works, a renowned Japanese video game developer of classic 2D fighting titles. With DRAGON BALL FighterZ for the Nintendo Switch, the development team is now taking the signature action-packed explosive gameplay of DRAGON BALL FighterZ and combining it with the portability of the Nintendo Switch. DRAGON BALL FighterZ for the Nintendo Switch will also feature easy-to-pick-up-and-play controls in support of single Joy-Con play, along with support for Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for serious competitive play. All the classic 2D fighting visuals and advanced 3D character models that look and feel as if they are ripped straight out of the DRAGON BALL anime series can now be enjoyed anytime, anywhere.
