Messhof have announced that Nidhogg 2 is real and coming to PC in 2017. Other platforms have been mentioned but marked down as “maybe” in 2017.
This tug of war fencer has seen some improvements that will make it stand out from it’s predecessor including a complete overhaul of environments and animations. With this comes over 10 levels of multiplayer action (both local and online), single player AI opponents, a new soundtrack (featuring Mux Mool, Dose One & Daedelus) and of course, features that the team are yet to announce.
Nidhogg 2 will be playable in the Indie District, booth 104 at TwitchCon–which takes place in San Diego September 30 to October 2. So you have in the area or are already planning on going, stop by and give this one a go. If not, check out the new trailer below.
