Super Mario Maker Hits 1 Million

Since launching earlier this month, Super Mario Maker has hit 1 million sales!  Nintendo have also announced that 2.2 million courses have been created which have been played nearly 75 million times.

I myself to do not own a WiiU but I did manage to get a go on Super Mario Maker at EGX last week (admittedly I did kick a kid off the game) and I must agree with those who that own already own the creation title that it is a lot of fun to play.  A few community winning levels were played live on stage too and I must say that there are some really creative players out there.

For a franchise that is 30 years old it is great to see that it is as popular today as it was then.
